SANDY, Utah — Family, friends, and community members are honoring the life of Isaac William Hardy, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 19. Though his life was far too short, those who knew him remember a young man whose intelligence, kindness, creativity, and dedication to others left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

Born on March 7, 2007, in Sandy, Utah, Isaac was the beloved son of Charles Campbell Hardy and Jennifer Shimai Loris Hardy. From an early age, he demonstrated a remarkable curiosity about the world around him. His love of learning was matched by a warm and welcoming personality that made people feel valued and appreciated. Whether meeting someone for the first time or spending time with lifelong friends, Isaac had a unique ability to form meaningful connections.

A graduate of American Preparatory Academy, Isaac earned admiration for both his academic excellence and his character. He later continued his education at Brigham Young University, where he pursued studies in pure mathematics. His passion for mathematics reflected his fascination with patterns, logic, and discovery. Friends and professors alike recognized his intellectual gifts and his enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others.

Beyond the classroom, Isaac embraced a wide variety of interests that showcased his creativity and talent. He enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, lace making, painting, calligraphy, piano performance and composition, ballroom dancing, and solving Rubik’s Cubes. These pursuits reflected not only his artistic abilities but also his desire to bring people together through shared experiences. He often encouraged family members and friends to participate in his hobbies, creating lasting memories through creativity and collaboration.

Service was another defining aspect of Isaac’s life. He recently began serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Salt Lake City East Mission. Those who served alongside him recall his humility, compassion, and sincere commitment to helping others. He found joy in lifting people up and believed deeply in the value of kindness and service.

Isaac was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Devon Hardy, and maternal grandmother, Susan Jeanette Jackson. He is survived by his parents, siblings Wesley Charles Hardy and Abigail Mae Hardy Carpenter, grandparents LouAnn Campbell and Robert Craig Loris, and many extended family members and friends.

While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Isaac William Hardy’s legacy of learning, creativity, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will remain a source of comfort, gratitude, and love for years to come.
