GLENDALE, Arizona — Arizona investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding a devastating murder-suicide that claimed the lives of 38-year-old Andrea Clarice Davis and her two children, Austin Davis, 10, and Andolan Davis, 18 months old, following a violent sequence of events that began outside a Glendale sports bar in late May. Authorities describe the case as one of the most tragic domestic violence-related incidents the region has experienced in recent memory.

According to the Glendale Police Department, the incident began shortly after midnight outside Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill near Bell Road and 61st Avenue. Investigators say Andrea Davis allegedly drove to the location and opened fire on her husband, Nolan Davis, and a woman who was with him. While Nolan Davis was not injured, the woman sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to a hospital, where she was expected to survive.

Following the shooting, police say the situation escalated dramatically. Authorities were alerted after Nolan Davis reportedly received alarming messages indicating that his children might be in danger. Officers from Glendale and Phoenix quickly coordinated a response and rushed to the family residence in Phoenix. Because of the urgent nature of the information received, officers forced entry into the home shortly after 2:30 a.m.

Inside the residence, officers discovered Andrea Davis and her two children deceased from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the children were killed before Davis took her own life. A firearm was recovered from the home as part of the investigation.
