MEDFORD, Ore. — The Medford community is mourning the tragic loss of Nicole Dominguez, 43, who died following a fatal assault Tuesday afternoon near the railroad tracks at the end of Welch Street.

According to the Medford Police Department, officers responded to reports from nearby citizens who heard a violent disturbance in the area.
